Kristin understands that people seek counselling for reasons that are not always easy to talk about. She strives to create a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore the reasons most important to them. Taking pride in being authentic and transparent throughout the therapy process, Kristin is passionate about working with people to explore their challenges, strengths, and opportunities for growth and change.
Over the course of her career, Kristin has worked with individuals, couples, and families to address many unique needs and concerns such as trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions, emotional regulation, relationship issues, and many other life challenges.
Kristin has a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Calgary. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and travelling.

Sadaf is a Registered Provisional Psychologist with extensive experience in both clinical and counselling roles. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with varying psychological concerns. She believes that therapy is a collaborative process and assists clients to progress in life by identifying and setting life goals for better mental health.
Sadaf uses different psychotherapy techniques, according to each client’s needs. She provides counselling to people with depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders, self esteem, family issues, relationship difficulties, anger, grief or loss, trauma, marital problems, experience of abuse, domestic violence and cultural adjustments.
Sadaf is compassionate and multi-lingual, providing counselling services in English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. She holds a Bachelor of Science, Honors, and a Master’s degree in Psychology.

With a heart that cares deeply for others, Amanda is drawn to help people face life experiences in healthy, positive ways. Her approachable, calm demeanor helps clients feel at ease in sharing their unique memories and stories. Amanda tailors her approach to fit the particular needs of the client, which change as the client grows. She offers insight and guidance while helping clients articulate and work toward achieving their own goals. In her practice, she aims to strike a balance between showing kindness, understanding, and compassion, alongside the values of truth, integrity, and genuineness.
Amanda’s past work experience includes group and individual counselling of children, youth, and young adults, and conducting psychological assessments for students from preschool to university. Over the years, Amanda has worked alongside many professionals in mental health, and she appreciates learning from, and collaborating with, her colleagues and mentors.
Amanda is a registered provisional psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists. Amanda earned her doctoral degree in Psychology at Brock University in Ontario, with a specialization in developmental psychology. Amanda and her family recently relocated to Calgary and they are loving it! She is grateful for the opportunity to join the team at Simply Counselling, and looks forward to meeting you.

Tara is passionate about improving the well being and quality of life of those she is supporting. She will compassionately and wholeheartedly listen to the challenges that are preventing you from living your preferred life.
Over her career, Tara has worked with youth, individuals and families on challenges with unhealthy thinking and behaviors, addictions to substances, psychosis, relationships, and regulating emotions. From this experience, Tara is able to use different therapeutic approaches to best meet your needs.
Tara believes in empowering clients to ultimately reach their potential. Tara has a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University. She enjoys spending time with her pets, reading, and being with family.
Registered Clinical Social Worker
Lea joins the team with a versatile background of over thirteen years of experience. She is passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Throughout her career, she worked with vulnerable individuals including children, youth and their families battling with various traumas and obstacles that can cause emotional pain. Lea is a wealth of knowledge and has connections to different community agencies and resources available to help you manage and navigate your life. She is compassionate, full of life and dedicated to working with her clients.
Lea is registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers and holds a Bachelors in Honors Developmental Psychology and a master’s in Clinical Social Work focusing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. During her leisure time, she enjoys travelling with her family and reading books.
Debra has an extensive background working in community, educational and hospital settings providing individual, family, couple and group therapy. She is strength-based, relational, and believes in empowering clients to become the best versions of themselves.
She provides treatment to adults, children and adolescents struggling with a variety of mental health challenges including those related to anxiety, mood, social and behavioral, OCD, PTSD, relationships, learning related challenges, and grief and loss.
Debra incorporates several psychotherapeutic modalities into her practice and has the required training for many different approaches. She possesses a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Calgary; a Master of Arts in Child Studies from Concordia University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She enjoys spending time with family, swimming and traveling.
Louise is a registered Occupational Therapist (OT) in Alberta with 19 years of experience. Occupational therapy focuses on both physical and mental health. OTs serve people with injury, illness, disability or psychological dysfunction and work to improve their clients’ capacity to participate in meaningful daily activities. Whether it’s personal hygiene and care, driving, working, leisure or learning, OTs help people with the skills required for the “job of living” within their community or chosen environment.
Louise’s passion is working with children and youth, with a focus on mental health. Additionally, Louise has worked with youth/families who are “super-feelers”, experiencing emotions and sensations much louder than other people which may lead to unworkable behaviours such as being a risk to self or others, including chronic isolation.
Louise is genuinely committed to engaging in a strong partnership with her clients. She provides individual, family and group assessment, as well as interventions in various settings including schools and communities for youth aged 6 to 18.
